It's somewhat amazing how all supercars (and especially Lamborghini) share an abysmal design & quality problem especially with their center consoles and door covers... with the LM002 probably being the worst. The techniques and (most) materials used stem from an era that has ended 80 or 100 years ago and the end result just can't keep up with the rest of the cars.

tell Bob, the new owner that you can get a specially made inlet manifold for a holley carb conversion, mire power and driveability but also much more reliable, as the "triple" choke original setup is notorious in europe for issues, it shows this conversion in "Wheeler Dealers", Mike Brewer & Ed China , buy one from france and fix it up in the uk. Mike now does a series in USA, possibly florida based?.... check out the episode.

At the time the Diablo seemed like an even cooler Countach, although in hindsight, if I had to pick one, it'd be the Countach. It just has way more retro-cool appeal!

It's one of the sweeter old Lambos. I drove a pre-production Diablo, in Sant'Agata, Italy, at the Lamborghini factory it was actually a drive-able monster and very elegant but as always of you have anything over size 10 feet, things get tricky. Have no idea about USA prices, but would guess $230,000

My brother owns a VT (not a roadster though) right hooker, a few things never highlighted in videos about them,. 1 you can hear them coming from like 2 miles away. 2 the windows are really sharp. 3 guaranteed to rip in between your pants getting into them! 4 getting out of them is a pain! 5 they handle really well! 6 a new clutch is very expensive lol!

If you're worried that you can't afford to keep them, I see plenty of lesser cars that you could sell. If you have a Countach and a Diablo, then you don't need the other cars.

Would it be possible to add a wireless backup camera, or would that ruin the originality of the car? They have cameras that mount on the rear license plate frame and use the backup light supply line for power. Not too hard to install.
